The Evil Within 2 PS4 Pro And Xbox One X Patches Now Available

Adding in a little extra evil to your experience.

Yesterday Bethesda announced a list of games that will be releasing patches on the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X, and one of those games has already received one. The recently released horror sequel The Evil Within 2 launched without any PS4 Pro support to the disappointment of fans who were hoping for an enhanced experience on the buffed box.

But that’s now been fixed by game version 1.02 which among other things, implements support for both the PS4 Pro and upcoming Xbox One X. Gamers can now choose which flavour of enhancement they want, deciding between a higher resolution or an unlocked framerate on either console.

The Evil Within 2 generally faired better with critics than the original game, improving upon many of its flaws. While it was created by the legendary Shinji Mikami’s studio, Tango Gameworks, Mikami took a back seat role as a producer, leaving director duties to John Jonas.
