46. The Evil Within

In between the hype for E3 and tons of new releases from other developers, Tango Gameworks’ The Evil Within has somewhat blended into the periphery. Nonetheless, since it arrives from the master of horror himself Shinji Mikami, we’re eagerly anticipating its release later this year. New screenshots for the game have been revealed containing tons of gore, decapitations and some new concept for the game.

The Evil Within sees Detective Sebastian Castellanos investigating a brutal murder when a mysterious force tosses him into an alternate dimension. This dimension is filled with many horrors and demons, and you’ll need to use your wits to survive.

The Evil Within releases on August 26th for North America and August 29th for Europe on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 and PC. It will likely make an appearance at E3 so stay tuned for more information on the game in the coming weeks. Let us know what you think of the screens in the comments below.
