Tango Gameworks’ The Evil Within has been having an interesting series of delays and pre-ponements. Originally slated to release in the middle of August, the psychological horror title was subsequently delayed to the middle of October. Then at QuakeCon, Tango announced that the game would be out a little earlier on October 14th in North America and October 17th in Europe.

Now, the European release has been pre-poned. It will be out on October 14th, the same day as the North American version. Those who are interested in experiencing Mikami’s next big horror title in Europe can thus celebrate and have their pants scared off along with the rest of the world.

The Evil Within will be out on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 and PC. It will see players taking on the role of police detective Sebastian Castellanos as he ventures through a nightmarish world and fights for survival. Stay tuned for more information on the game.
