The Evil Within: The Assignment Gets A Release Date And A Trailer

Finally a release date.

Posted By | On 25th, Feb. 2015

The Evil Within was a good game when you looked at the bones it was built on, but ultimately it was marred by its readily apparent flaws. Regardless of those issues, if you are a fan of the game,  then the upcoming DLC pack for Shinji Mikami’s latest survival horror adventure should excite you.

Titled “The Evil Within: The Assignment”, this piece of DLC is the first entry in a two part story driven experience with its sequel set to arrive later this spring under the name of “The Evil Within: The Consequence.”

In this piece of add on content, which is actually a run along concurrent story, players will take control of Sebastian Castellanos’ enigmatic partner Juli Kidman. This will help answer the questions surrounding her whereabouts during Sebastian’s main campaign.  Players might also uncover Kidman’s personal motivations and connections to the mysterious Mobius group.

Gamers that purchased the Season Pass for The Evil Within will get free access to The Assignment content which is regularly priced at $19.99.
