The Evil Within: The Executioner Gets New Video Showcasing The First Person Perspective

The final DLC for last year’s hit Tango Softworks and Bethesda delivered horror game, The Evil Within, will be called The Executioner, and it is almost out. As we have already reported before, The Executioner lets you play as The Keeper, and it lets you play in a first person mode. Now, this brand new video that we just got showcases just how gruesome that first person mode can be.

It actually feels a bit like the original Resident Evil games (which were all also first person), which may not be a co-incidence- after all, Shinji Mikami, the director of The Evil Within, was also the mastermind of those games.

The Executioner is scheduled to launch for The Evil Within next Tuesday, on May 26, on Xbox Live, PSN, or Steam. As always, it will cost $5, but as always, you can get it for free if you just bought the Season Pass.

Stay tuned for more coverage and information.
