The Evil Within Trailer Pushes You to Fight for Your Life

Hello darkness, my old friend.

Evil things are afoot in Tango Gameworks’ The Evil Within. But you already knew that. After all, it comes from the nightmarish imagination of Shinji Mikami, the man who created the Resident Evil franchise. Check out the latest trailer for the game dubbed “Fight for Life”.

It’s not all dismal – you’ll have an assortment of weapons to help you out, including your standard shotgun and a crossbow that can be upgraded with different bolts. There’s actually a major Dead Space vibe with the crossbow due to the aiming sight. Plus you can shoot freezing bolts, lightning bolts, exploding bolts and whatnot. You can also set off various traps to one-up your foes (but be careful that you don’t get caught in them instead).

The Evil Within releases on October 14th in North America and Europe for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 and PC. Are you prepared to delve into madness? Let us know in the comments below.
