The Expanse - A Telltale Series

After a brief new gameplay trailer debuted recently, The Expanse: A Telltale Series received an extended gameplay video with commentary from Telltale Games and Deck Nine. It features Zak Garriss, VP of Story Development, and Stephan Frost, Game Director, following protagonist Camina Drummer as she explores a ruined UNN ship.

Of course, this is no derelict – pirates attacked the ship and slaughtered the crew, leaving their severed heads floating throughout the structure. Along with exploring in zero-gravity, Drummer also faces a decision to rescue her crewmate, Rayen, whose leg becomes stuck in a vault. You can either release the vault and save him while losing valuable supplies or cost him a leg.

The gameplay ends with Drummers and Maya, the engineer, getting into a sporting tussle before exploring the outside. The Expanse: A Telltale Series releases this Summer, though its platforms have yet to be confirmed. Stay tuned for more details en route.
