Developer Embark Studios has sneakily released THE FINALS on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. The competitive team-based first-person shooter is available for free, and just got a new trailer during The Game Awards 2023. Check out the trailer below.

Word that THE FINALS would be getting a shadow drop release during The Game Awards 2023 first came out earlier this week, when a Reddit user spotted that the game’s official website was updated with a “play now” prompt.

THE FINALS has been quite popular with players that managed to give the game a shot thanks to its beta testing on PC and current-gen consoles. Back in November, the studio revealed that more than 7.5 million players had given the beta a shot. Since then, the studio has been working on fixing bugs and bringing general improvements to the title.

Along with THE FINALS, Embark Studios is also working on PvPvE shooter ARC Raiders, which currently doesn’t have a release date.
