The First Berserker: Khazan Announced, New Gameplay Trailer Debuts at The Game Awards

Nexon's cel-shaded single-player action RPG is coming to Xbox, PlayStation and PC, though a release date has yet to be announced.

Remember Nexon’s single-player action RPG based on Dungeon Fighter Online? Announced as Arad Chronicle: Khazan, it’s officially called The First Berserker: Khazan. It’s coming to Xbox, PlayStation and PC with a new gameplay trailer debuting at The Game Awards.

The story focuses on General Khazan, exiled on false charges and seeking revenge. Based on DFO’s lore, he served the Pelos Empire more than 800 years prior. Interestingly, he appears as a ghost and spreads a curse called the Kazan Syndrome, which the Berserker suffers from.

Though there’s no release date, the title boasts gorgeous cel-shaded visuals. Gameplay details are sparse, but players can utilize offensive and defensive moves and customize their character and equipment.

Stay tuned for more details when its latest trailer debuts on December 7th. In the meantime, Nexon is also supporting DNF Duel, a 2.5D fighting game based on Dungeon Fighter Online. Its next DLC character, Battle Mage, will launch on December 18th, combining magical Chasers with hard-hitting spear attacks.
