Nexon offered some new details and gameplay for The First Berserker: Khazan, its upcoming action RPG based on the Dungeon and Fighter franchise. Though a good chunk was previously revealed, there are some new boss fights and weapon types to glean. Check it out below.

While hacking and slashing enemies feels good, Khazan can also Just Guard and Just Evade to mitigate damage or launch preemptive strikes to enemy backs for more damage. Managing stamina is necessary, but the same applies to enemies – if they run out and become exhausted, it creates an opening for Khazan to deal more damage.

Two new bosses – Volbaino and Blade Phantom – are showcased, each with uniquely brutal attacks. Fortunately, players can utilize other weapons like the spear, which has long range and excels in draining stamina with its hits. There’s also a greatsword, where you can charge most attacks and initiate counterstrikes. You’ll also discover new items and skills to enhance your combat style.

The First Berserker: Khazan launches in early 2025 for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. A technical closed beta runs from October 11th to 20th, with Xbox Insiders capable of joining.
