The First Berserker Khazan

Following its announcement at The Game Awards 2023, Nexon has released a new gameplay trailer for The First Berserker: Khazan. Based on the Dungeon and Fighter series, the single-player action RPG focuses on Pell Los Empire general Khazan. After facing betrayal and exile, he sets out on a quest for revenge and to wreak havoc on his enemies.

The trailer showcases several combat mechanics, from parrying and a slick last-minute dodge to brutal finishers with a massive blade. It even highlights one of the boss encounters, who transforms in the middle to an even more sinister form. The mix of Sekiro and Souls-like combat looks pretty responsive, with the cel-shaded visuals further adding to the combat’s mood.

The First Berserker: Khazan doesn’t have a release date yet, but it’s coming to Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. Check out some more gameplay from the title here, and stay tuned for more details in the coming months.
