Nexon’s free-to-play looter shooter, The First Descendant, is available now for PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. Offering a post-apocalyptic sci-fi setting, it sees players controlling the Descendants, humanity’s last hope against the Vulgus and Colossus. After outlining some launch characters, a new trailer highlights some new additions. Check it out below
Esiemo is an explosives expert, secreting a chemical substance for delayed explosions and explosive jumps. Enzo, who appears in the story as staff to Albion HQ’s Alpha, serves as support, calling in supply drops and enhancing his combat suit. Finally, there’s Yujin, a healer who can order drones to patch up allies while deploying healing grounds and stimulant spray to reduce damage.
Each of these Descendants can be unlocked through playing the game, though you’ll need to find the requisite pieces in different missions. Alternatively, they can be purchased from the in-game store. For more details on The First Descendant, check out our feature here.
