With The First Descendant’s first content drop arriving on August 1st, there will be significant balance adjustments to different characters and weapons. As game director Joo Min-seok notes, Valby, Blair, and Freyna will see some “improved performance.”
Ultimate Weapons that rely on critical hit chance, like Enduring Legacy, Secret Garden and Nazeistra’s Devotion, will also offer “more powerful firepower with critical settings.” Furthermore, if you found the effect of Greg’s Reversed Fate too random, it’s receiving some adjustments to allow for more opportunities to activate it. Single-shot weapons will also get improved functionality.
Quality-of-life improvements and new cosmetics will also be available with the update, so stay tuned for more details. The First Descendant is available for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, and PC. The forthcoming update adds a new Ultimate Descendant, Valby, with exclusive Modules, and Luna, a Support Descendant.
