The Game Awards Will Have Their Biggest Lineup of New Game Announcements Ever This Year

Time to start making predictions about what those announcements might be.

Posted By | On 09th, Nov. 2018

The Game Awards are due to be held in a month from now, and while many are doubtless awaiting the announcement of the nominees, as well as the actual winners for the awards, it might not be unreasonable to say that a whole lot more people are actually going to be tuning in for all the new game announcements and reveals that are usually a hallmark of the event.

Speaking on that front, The Game Awards’ Twitter account today teased those announcements, stating that this year’s event will have the biggest lineup of new game announcements yet. Keep in mind that “announcements” here doesn’t necessarily mean a new game announcement—a new announcement for an already announced or released game also counts. Even so, it sounds like there will be a lot to look forward to. It presumably helps that unlike every other year, this year there isn’t a PlayStation Experience following just a day or two later to steal some of the announcements.

The Game Awards are going to be held on December 6 this year.
