The Gorn spread terror and havoc in the Star Trek video game

Very few enemies have caused as much dread and despair as the Gorn in the Star Trek universe. The humanoid reptiles had only made a brief appearance in the episode “Arena” from the original series, but all that changes in the upcoming video game adaptation of the J.J. Abrams’ film reboot that hit the big screen in 2009.

Paramount Pictures has released a new video which delves deeper into the mystery of the Gorn, and also sheds some light on the game itself. Check it out after the break.

“When we started development on the game more than three years ago, one of the first decisions we had to make was: Who was the enemy?” said executive producer Brian Miller. “The Gorn immediately jumped to the top of the list. And now, as gamers and fans ourselves, we couldn’t be more excited to bring one of the most popular and iconic science fiction villains of all time to the video-game space.”
