E3 2005 – Killzone 2 “gameplay” trailer debuts, raises skepticism. Later confirmed as target gameplay
I’m all for publicity if it gets to sell your product, but there is a very fine line between deception and proper advertising. At E3 2005, Killzone 2 trailer came out and blew everyone away with its awesome graphics and everyone in the crowd was stunned. Sony stated that the trailer showcased real gameplay, however a Guerrilla representative on the US PS forums said that it was a render, which showed what was “possible on PS3,” instead of actual game-play footage.
