E3 2003 – Half Life 2 suddenly debuts, blows everyone away
Everyone and when I say everyone, I meant half the world’s population loved Half Life and couldn’t get enough of it. Imagine everyone’s excitement and surprise when Half Life 2 just suddenly appeared in E3 2003, the entire floor went nuts, chaos and anarchy reigned for that day. The demo showcased what the Source engine was able to pull off. Gabe managed to blitz the audience with a trailer which showcased the model of the old G-Man from Half-Life, which was soon superimposed with the new model from the sequel. The whole announcement made history and it is still talked to this day. Here’s hoping for Half Life 3 at E3 2014.
