Hank McCoy is quite the character and he has been quite an asset to the X-men, but first and foremost he was one of the founding member of the X-Men. Hank drank a serum he had created,and further mutated himself into a blue furry, strong mutant with fangs and claws. However his powers made him quite strong, fast and very agile and thus made him a force to be reckoned with. Fun fact Beast enjoys Twinkies, which was shownn in X-Men #73.
