73. Better Life
Better Life is based upon a general story line, and was created using the props and story of in-world snapshots . Better Life tells the story of a paraplegic stuck in a wheelchair who escapes into a virtual world free of his disability. Many people can relate to wanting to escape from their mundane lives and this allowed the director to get a view of the pace, continuity and balance of the film. Better Life was nominated for Best Virtual Performance: Custom Animation.
