Molotov Alva and His Search for his Creator was filmed entirely in Second Life using a real-time 3D graphics engines. Douglas Gayeton created the 2007 documentary and it was eventually featured during the Tokyo Film Festival and the Rome Film Festival. The plot revolves around a resident of California who lives inside a virtual world called Second Life.
