After being announced last year and seemingly disappearing into the ether, The House of the Dead: Remake has received a new gameplay trailer and release date. It’s out on April 7th for the Nintendo Switch and will cost €24.99. Check out all of the zombie shooting shenanigans below.

Developed by MegaPixel Studio, this remake of the classic 1997 arcade shooter offers contemporary visuals and controls while retaining the same gameplay. Along with support for two players in local multiplayer, there are also multiple endings and Achievements to unlock. Photo Mode and a new game mode where players take on hordes of zombies is also included along with an “Armory” of unlockable weapons.

If that weren’t enough, there’s also a Gallery mode where players can take a closer look at enemies and bosses encountered through the game. Pre-orders for the title kick off on March 31st so stay tuned for more details and gameplay in the coming weeks.
