Glad to see Sony have a sense of humor.

After almost a decade of waiting, The Last Guardian is almost here (it’s surprising how many games I get to say that for these days). Ahead of its release, Sony have released a brand new advertisement for the game in Japan which seems to have a sense of self awareness and humor about the protracted development cycle for the title that kept fans waiting.

The Last Guardian is the next game by visionary game director Fumito Ueda, who has previously made the fan favorite ICO and the award winning, critically acclaimed Shadow of the Colossus. It marks the end of a very long and troubled development cycle for the game.

The Last Guardian will release in Japan and in North America on December 6th, and in Europe on Decmber 7th. Possibly because Sony is pissed at them for Brexit, the UK will have to wait till December 9 to get their hands on the game.
