The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Gets An Epic TV Trailer For Japan

Hopefully, this is the one they bring over to the west as well.

With the release of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild being only a couple of weeks away, Nintendo is amping up its advertising. Zelda is one of their most important game releases in year, if only because of its bold, modern, AAA vision for a classic Nintendo franchise, and also because of how heavily the game is associated with the Nintendo Switch launch, the platform that can make or break their fortunes.

The advertising for Zelda, thankfully, is top notch, and makes the game look immensely desirable. The new Japanese TV ad, that you can see below, is actually a spliced, shorter version of the excellent story trailer for the game we got a month back. It’s incredibly cool looking and exciting, and hopefully, the western TV ads for Zelda are along these lines, too.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will launch exclusively on Nintendo Switch and Wii U on March 3.
