Zelda Wii U

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is out tomorrow, March 3rd for the Wii U and Switch but reviews have already started to go live for a majority of publications. And the praise is pretty much universal.

The game currently hold a 98 out of 100 score on Metacritic from 44 reviews. Game Informer, GameSpot, Polygon, GameSpot, IGN, Destructoid and more have awarded it a perfect 10/10 rating (Giant Bomb gave it a 5/5 but same difference really).

The lowest score is a 9/10 courtesy of Eurogamer Italy which is still pretty damn good. Critics have praised the new mechanics and evolution of the traditional formula, calling it one of the best launch titles and video games of all time.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will be launching alongside the Switch tomorrow so make sure to reserve your copy today. Stay tuned for GamingBolt’s review as well and let us know what you think of the praise for Nintendo’s latest below.
