Nintendo took many by surprise when, at its recent Direct presentation, it announced not only a brand-new traditional, top-down Zelda game, but one where players will finally be stepping into the shoes of Princess Zelda herself at long last. Due out this September, The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is actually not that far away from release, and more tidbits on it are continuing to emerge in the wake of its announcement.

For instance, the game’s official listing on the UK Switch eShop has revealed its file size. Echoes of Wisdom will require roughly 6 GB of free storage space on your system (or 6.144 GB, to be precise). That’s roughly the size that you would expect for the game, given that 2019’s Link’s Awakening, the series’ last top-down entry, had a file size of 5.9 GB. Unsurprisingly, it’ll be a much smaller game than its open world counterparts in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is set to launch for the Nintendo Switch on September 26. It’ll be accompanied by the launch of a new, special edition Switch Lite model. Read more on that through here.
