While this week’s Nintendo Direct didn’t quite bring the news many crave for the Breath of the Wild sequel, it did bring the announcement that another Zelda title would be coming to the Switch relatively soon. The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD will be coming later this year, and thankfully it won’t take up too much space.
Skyward Sword originally released on the Wii and was the last Zelda game in the more ‘traditional’ style before Breath of the Wild‘s open world-based reinvention of the series. Its listing is now live on the eShop and is said to only take up 7.5 GB of space. That could change if there is any day 1 updates, of course, but either way it doesn’t seem like it’ll take up a lot of your hardware space.
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD will release exclusively on the Switch on July 16th. There are also rumors that Twilight Princess and Wind Waker HD ports are coming to the Switch this year, but as now there has been no official announcement.
