The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

Calling The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom one of the most highly anticipated games of the year would be a massive understatement, and even in the absence of Nintendo giving out too much information on the game, excitement surrounding its May launch is continuing to mount. Ahead of that launch though, it seems new details on the game have emerged.

The leak comes from a leak of the game’s official art book – which will be included in the Collector’s Edition – on Reddit. The user behind the leak claimed to have been sent images of the art book for a friend, which are now being circulated online, showing several characters – both new and old – along with unseen locations and enemy types from the game. As per the leaker, the art book is over 200 pages long.

Recent leaks have also suggested that a Zelda-themed limited edition Switch OLED model is also in the works and could be revealed soon.

Nintendo did recently release a gameplay trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomoffering new glimpses at the game’s world, though information on the open world title has otherwise been scant.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is due out on May 12 for the Nintendo Switch. It will be Nintendo’s first ever game to be priced at $69.99, though the company has said that won’t be the standard price for all future first party releases.
