The Medium

One of the first next generation only titles, and for my money still one of the most interesting ones, we saw was The Medium. The game will have a unique Dual-Reality gameplay set up as you navigate both the real, physical world as well as the supernatural one. It also has a story that hasn’t quite come into focus just yet, but we do get a new story trailer to bring things into a bit of context.

Via IGN, the trailer shows the main character as she navigates a hospital in our physical world as well as the spiritual one. She meets a ghost girl who we have seen in previous trailers called Sadness. There we get Sadness talking about The Maw, one of the central antagonists that we learned about earlier, referencing him eating everyone else and being clearly scared. It brings the creepy as you’d expect. Check it out below.

The Medium is set to launch this Holiday season for Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC.
