Metal Gear 1
The NES version of Metal Gear had a wide range of changes over the MSX2 original, most notably removing a post-credits scene which revealed Big Boss as being alive. Swearing to meet Snake again and take revenge for his defeat, it essentially sets up Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake. Why this was removed is unknown but it was still surprising to see him surviving the destruction of Outer Heaven. Even more hilarious is how Metal Gear Solid 5 went about explaining exactly how but that’s a different matter entirely.
