The PlayStation Headset Companion App Gets A New Custom Mode For The Order 1886

The way it is meant to be heard.

It’s become sort of customary for me to start The Order related posts off like this, but there were a lot of things that the game really did wrong. But on the technical side of things, it also did a whole lot right. The graphics are the most obvious response, but the sound mixing and design was also incredible- and now, you can enjoy it as it was originally intended to be enjoyed, thanks to a new custom mode for The Order 1886 having been added to the PlayStation Headset Companion App via a stealthy update (it seems).

Currently, the custom mode for The Order is compatible only with the PlayStation Gold Wireless Stereo Headset and PlayStation Silver Wired Stereo Headset. So if you own any other headsets, including the (sorry excuse for) one that came with the console, you’re left out in the cold (although it can be hoped that they will eventually patch support for the other headsets in).
