The Plucky Squire Sneak Peek Showcases Side-Scrolling Shoot ’em Up Gameplay

All Possible Futures’ upcoming action-adventure platformer, The Plucky Squire, still lacks a release date. However, you can wishlist it on Steam and the Epic Games Store. There’s also new gameplay which showcases platforming – and other genres – across 2D and 3D locations. Check it out below.

It starts with protagonist Jot battling some enemies on the desk at night before venturing into a sci-fi-themed mug to help Zip reassemble his father, Zap. Zip acts as a jetpack, allowing Jot to ascend to great heights. He’s also incredibly handy during the shoot ’em up sequence.

Jot is transformed into a futuristic soldier during this and must gun down invading enemies on both sides. Eventually, the duo returns to Zap and puts him back together.

The Plucky Squire is out later this year for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch. Check out some more gameplay here, and stay tuned for more updates.
