The Sinking City 2

The Sinking City 2, Frogwares’ sequel to the 2019 survival horror title, doesn’t have a release date, but its Kickstarter campaign will begin on March 6th. While the crowdfunding goal has yet to be revealed, the developer promises “unique pledge awards,” including the studio’s first-ever physical Limited and Collector’s Editions.

Based on the images, backers who pledge enough for the latter will receive a SteelBook, a collector’s box, a figure, what appears to be a vinyl record, a hardcover art book, stickers, a medallion, and more. There’s even some art of Cthulhu with a rubber ducky in the bath.

Frogwares also promises “exclusive first looks at new environments, creatures, and gameplay features” during development. Fans can also participate in challenges and community events for “hidden secrets” before launch.

The Sinking City 2 is coming to Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC in 2025. While exploration and battling cosmic horrors like the Deep Ones is the name of the game, you’ll also investigate and gather clues. It’s developed on Unreal Engine 5, utilizing MetaHuman, Lumen GI, and more.
