Well, here we are again. This week has seen some truly up and down times for the world, especially in the United States where widespread protests have been ongoing. Because of that, every major digital gaming event once scheduled to come this week was moved to next week. But it seems there’s a bit of a ripple effect in play, as now events from next week are also moving up.

The Steam Festival: Summer Edition was an event that was to see various different announcements, as well as things like demos being put out during the event. It was set to start early next week, on Tuesday the 9th, but as you can see via Geoff Keighley below, has been pushed back a week to the 16th.

Unlike the other events, nothing is explicitly stated for why the move was made, but common sense says it’s the same reason as the others. The Steam Festival: Summer Edition will now run from June 16th to the 22nd. We’ll keep you updated as more news come.
