Deck 13’s The Surge has received a new trailer at E3, providing a bit of backstory about the setting. Check it out below and marvel at some of the combat taking place.

The Surge sees you battling CREO, an organization that tried to reverse the effects of global warming but not everything went according to plan. It’s up to you and the exo-suit provided by CREO to take the corpration down. Augmented the user with super strength, the exo-suit can also be upgraded with various modules obtained from other exo-suits.

Combat encourages you to dismember your enemies, take their parts and become stronger in the process. There are plenty of different upgrades and combinations that can be utilized to upgrade your exo-suit.

If you’re familiar with Deck 13’s Lords of the Fallen, then The Surge should be right up your alley when it launches next year for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Stay tuned for more information in the meantime.
