The Talos Principle

Remember Croteam’s highly intellectual first person exploration puzzler The Talos Principle? According to a recent Nordic Games presentation by Croteam CTO Alen Ladavac, a sequel is in the works. Damir Đurović first tweeted the announcement which was retweeted by the developer’s account.

No details were revealed so it’s likely in an early stage at this point. The Talos Principle first released at the end of 2014 on PC before then arriving on PS4 and PC in 2015. The game saw an expansion with Road to Gehenna. Both the base experience and its DLC were lauded for their exploration of humanity, consciousness and all the philosophy surrounding the same. They also had some wicked puzzles which were fun (or maddening, depending on your approach) to encounter.

What are your thoughts on The Talos Principle 2? Could it arrive on Xbox One as well this time around? What could it’s theme possibly be this time? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
