The Walking Dead Might Be Hitting the PS4 in June

The first season, that is.

45. The Walking Dead Season 2

The first season of Telltale’s The Walking Dead, an episodic series of adventure games based on the hit comic book/TV show media franchise, was a sensation, winning VGA’s Game of the Year Award, and transcending its origins as a video game to tell a story that many rightly feel is among the best in the medium. The series is currently in its second season, but Telltale has been a bit trigger happy with the first season in the meanwhile- already available on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Windows PC, iOS, and PlayStation Vita, the first season is now also apparently inbound to Sony’s PlayStation 4.

Curiously, there is no listing for the Xbox One (or the Wii U- poor Wii U), which may or may not mean anything. However, the version that is incoming for the PlayStation 4 is apparently the ‘Game of the Year’ edition, which will include all six episodes of the first season, including 400 Days, which acts as a bridge between the events of the first season proper, and those of the second season.

If, for some reason, somehow, you have not played The Walking Dead already, and want to, and own a PlayStation 4 and are looking for games to play on that- that’s a lot of if’s, by the way- then maybe this would be a good option for you.
