It looks like Jonathan Blow’s excellent and impeccable puzzle game, The Witness, which launched earlier this year exclusively on the PlayStation 4 and PC, will now be coming over to the Xbox One too. Blow and his team confirmed to IGN that The Witness would be launching on the Xbox One on September 13.

Speaking about what the new version would be like, Blow said, “There are some technical differences, but it’s basically the same game.” He noted that he was against the idea of any platform exclusive content to entice buyers to the Xbox One version. “I feel like that would kind of… mess up the game,” he continued.

He also confirmed that work continues on an iOS version of the game, though it entails significantly more work. “It’s such a lower-end platform and we have to redo a ton of stuff,” Blow told IGN.

The Witness is, meanwhile, available right now for PC and PlayStation 4.
