The Wolf Among Us has always been among our personal favorites in Telltale’s library, and its remastered version has been a pleasure to play.
We were quite impressed with the overhauls, including improved visuals that make Fabletown look and feel even more alluring than the first time around. Of course, it’s been nice to reunite with old Bigby Wolf on an adventure that has stayed so memorable over the years. The new additions, including Noir Mode and the five playable deleted scenes, honestly felt like some excellent icing on an already tasty cake.
There are also hours of developer commentary and the fact that all five episodes are available right off the bat – no waiting. Oh, and your choices carry over to The Wolf Among Us 2, which is due next year (hopefully). Now is probably the best time to dive in if you’re a newbie, or brush up on the story and set up your choices for the sequel if you’ve experienced the original.
