Telltale Games is hard at work on Season 2 of The Walking Dead, but before that, it will be releasing The Wolf Among Us, an adventure game inspired by Vertigo’s Fables comic books series. To be shown off for the first time at PAX Prime on August 30th to September 2nd, Telltale has released the first trailer of the game. Check it out above.
The Wolf Among Us takes place prior to the first issue of Fables and will see players assuming the role of Bigby Wolf, formerly the “Big Bad Wolf” of lore. As a sheriff for the hidden community of mythical Fables creatures, Bigby is tasked with protecting the community and maintaining order in New York City. He’ll come across colour characters like a chain-smoking brother of “The Three Little Pigs”, a car-jacking Mr. Toad and the bureaucrat Snow White.
The season premiere for The Wolf Among Us will debut on Xbox Live, PSN, PC and Mac along with other digital distribution outlets shortly after it’s showcased at PAX.
