Remember theHunt: Call of the Wild? It was a game that launched in 2017, developed by Avalanche Studios of Just Cause fame, with the focus of the experience being on simulation of tracking and hunting of wild animals in beautiful, lush environments. In case you haven’t heard of it (which seems likely), you’re getting a good chance to catch up on it soon.

THQ Nordic have announced that the Avalanche developed title will be re-releasing soon. theHunt: Call of the Wild 2019 Edition will be the definitive version of the experience, supposedly, bringing together the game itself, as well as all of the DLC packs that have been released for it so far, in one single package.

It will launch for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 16. Why isn’t it the 2018 Edition, then? I really couldn’t tell you. Anyway, if you’re intrigued, you can head on over here to read our review of the game to see if it might be worth your time.
