There Will Be More News On Media Molecule’s Dreams Later In The Year, Sony’s Jim Ryan Confirms

Hopefully we hear about it some time soon, then.

Media Molecule’s Dreams, which looked like a charming take on Minecraft, has been missing in action for a very long time now, even missing its 2016 beta date. This has caused alarm among many, ad has prompted them to speculate that the game may be canceled. However, speaking to Eurogamer, Sony’s Jim Ryan confirmed that the game is still alive and well, and that there will be more news on it coming later in the year.

“Everything is fine with Dreams. We will have news of Dreams later in the year. You saw there was a fairly consistent tonality in the games last night,” he said, explaining why it skipped Sony’s E3 2017 press note.

Hopefully, Sony shows it off at Paris Games Week or the PlayStation Experience, then. The game looks great, and Media Molecule is too talented, for it to just wither on the vine and die prematurely like that.
