These Are April’s PS Plus Free Games

A disappointing month overall.

After an exemplary offering last month, this month’s offering of free games for the Instant Game Collection program under PS Plus is disappointing and underwhelming- a fact thrown into stark relief when one considers Microsoft actually has an exceptional offering of games this time around for Games With Gold.

On the whole, you’ll be best served this month if you own a PS Vita; PS3 owners also have it pretty good, thanks to Sony offering Bethesda and Arkane’s Dishonored for the system. The PS4 offering seems to be the most underwhelming of them all, offering no real noteworthy title.

The full lineup of games is below:

  • Tower of Guns (PS4, PS3)
  • Never Alone (PS4)
  • Dishonored (PS3)
  • Aaru’s Awakening (PS3, PS4)
  • Killzone Mercenary (Vita)
  • MonsterBag (Vita)

So… yeah. A pretty weak offering overall.

Still, you can’t win them all, I guess. Hopefully, next month’s offering is better. And hopefully Microsoft does not relent with the pressure next month either.
