There are people in the world who have literally survived a gunshot to the head or a 20-story building fall which makes us wonder whether they have temporary invincibility. It is a power that can grant the user immunity from harm or danger for a limited time, and from my experience that limited time could spell all the difference between life and death. Sonic has one such ability where he is completely invincible for a short period of time.
