This Developer Diary for King’s Quest Shows Us The Work Going Into Reviving The Beloved Series

Uncovering the story of this game's development.

The beloved King’s Quest adventure game franchise will be returning, it was announced at The Game Awards in December last year. Legions of PC gamers who grew up in the golden age of PC gaming in the 1990s probably have fond memories of the original games, and have been looking forward to the new installment with a degree of enthusiasm.

They will be very pleased with this new developer diary, that takes us behind the scenes on the development of the new game, and gives us more information about it.

The developer diary is the first of four planned ones, so we should be getting regular updates on the game ahead of its release date. As for that, that has also finally been confirmed now. King’s Quest will be releasing digitally on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC later this year. Remember to stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage and information.
