The indie puzzle platformer Thomas Was Alone, created by Mike Bethell using Flash, was announced to be arriving on PlayStation 3 and PS Vita and finally has a release date. It will be arriving in the PlayStation Store on April 30th for North America and making its way to Europe on April 24th.
Thomas Was Alone is unique for its simple art style and narration as several artificial intelligences suddenly gain unique personalities following a mysterious event. The narration describes these personalities, with Thomas being the short rectangle.
Though originally released for browsers, its quirkiness helped propel Thomas Was Alone into the spotlight and earning it a release on PC and Mac. The PS Vita/PS3 adaptation is being handled by Curve Studios and Bossa Studios and will contain timed exclusive content like 20 new levels and a new character. There will also be touch screen support for different shaes and moving the camera about.
Thomas Was Alone will cost £5.99 with the DLC costing £1.99.
