THQ Nordic

Over the last couple of years, in a very quick fashion the parent company to THQ Nordic, now named Embracer Group, has been in the process of buying publishers and studios left and right. They now own a total of 26 studios, and are parent company to several other publishing arms besides THQ Nordic, such as Deep Silver and Coffee Stain. With such an incredible buying spree, you would probably expect more content from them in general. Well, those seeds have definitely been planted.

In the groups latest financial report, they revealed that across their various studios, they have an incredible 118 titles in development. Only a few of them are known, apparently, as a whooping 69 are yet to be revealed.

It is worth nothing that the company does have studios that do external work that will not be published by an Embracer company, such as the NBA 2K Playground series that is published by 2K games. Even still, it’s quite the amount of titles to be in development even for the size of the group.
