Tim Cook didn’t visit Valve after all

Posted By | On 20th, Apr. 2012

Earlier we had reported that Tim Cook, the Apple CEO had visited Valve to lay out plans for world domination, and other stuff. That’s untrue and has been denied by Gabe Newell himself on Seven Day Cooldown‘s podcast.

He said he was himself shocked at this news and most Valve employees were wondering if it was indeed true.

“No one here was meeting with Tim Cook or with anybody at Apple that day. I wish we were. We have a long list of things we’d love to see Apple do to support games and gaming better,” he said.

“But no, we didn’t meet with Tim Cook. He seems like a smart guy, but I’ve never actually met him.”

So there you go. It’s fake. Cult of the Mac reported this news earlier about how Tim Cook visited Valve and maybe they need to check their sources carefully again.
