Titan Quest originally came out all the way back in 2006. A Diablo-inspired hack and slash title, the action RPG was largely met with solid reception. It was a bit of a victim of circumstances, as not too long after it and its first expansion, Immortal Throne, released, the game’s publisher THQ (not to be confused with the current publisher that took the name, THQ Nordic) went under. But a decade later in 2017, the series came back with the Titan Quest: Anniversary Edition to PC and current consoles with a new expansion, Raganork. But it seems they weren’t finished either, as a third expansion was stealth released yesterday.
Titled Atlantis, the expansion dropped with no announcement. It includes a new story chapter playable either solo or with up to 6 players that includes new items and gear. Along with that comes an Endless Mode challenge, where you and up to 5 other players fight waves of enemies with randomized elements.
Titan Quest: Anniversary Edition is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. The Atlantis expansion is available now on PC, with no word yet on if or when it will come to consoles.
