11. Stryder Matchmaking

The matchmaking system of Titanfall had a number of pitfalls that frustrated a lot of people. Though the developers assured that the problems will be sorted out very soon, it’s not sure if all of the issues could be handled through patches. In any case, Respawn can improve the matchmaking system to not let people have lopsided teams or develop some way of getting together players of similar interest/language etc.

Something that can be borrowed from Dota’s matchmaking, which will be very beneficial is the player join status, i.e., like Dota, titanfall 2 can display to everyone the status of the people connecting to the server (‘Loading/Connecting’ when players are in the process of joining a game and ‘Connected/Ready’ when they have connected to the server). This will ensure no premature bail out of players thinking that someone isn’t going to join a game.
