Titanfall was heavily rebuked for its insipid and humdrum story and was blamed for bringing the game’s unfavourable reviews. This is because the game was meant to be a multiplayer only game but was still fitted with a single player campaign for the heck of it or because it had to follow up in the footsteps of other shooter IPs, and this turned out to be nasty for Respawn’s first game.
